The visit to Afghanistan will introduce a new era of trade and investment cooperation, Abdul Razzaq Dawood said

ISLAMABAD: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Trade Abdul Razzaq Dawood has said that his visit to Afghanistan will introduce a new era of trade and investment cooperation between the two countries which will increase Pakistan’s exports to Afghanistan and other countries.

He said in a statement that the Pakistani delegation is visiting Afghanistan at the special invitation of the Afghan government, adding that the talks at the delegation level included strong trade, transit and economic cooperation.

He said that the visit would lead to improvement in various fields including bilateral trade between Pakistan and Afghanistan. The delegation will hold talks to promote trade and investment cooperation. The delegation includes Secretary Commerce, Member Customs and senior officials of the Ministry of Commerce. The delegation will hold talks on bilateral trade, transit trade and bilateral preferential trade agreement. Talks are also expected to formalize formal trade. Trade Adviser Abdul Razzaq Dawood will also meet with the Afghan President. The delegation is led by Trade Adviser Abdul Razzaq Dawood.
