International community acknowledges Pakistan’s stand on Afghan issue, Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi

Islamabad: Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, the Prime Minister’s Special envoy for Interfaith Harmony and Middle East Affairs and Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council, has announced that a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Foreign Ministers will be held on December 17 to discuss the situation in Afghanistan.

The international community recognizes Pakistan’s position on Afghanistan.

The upheaval in Afghanistan will have an impact not only on the area, but also on the rest of the world. During a press conference, he conveyed similar sentiments.

In accordance with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s directives, our Foreign Ministry has completely put the Afghanistan issue to the rest of the world.

He stated that Pakistan has made it clear that peace in Afghanistan is Pakistan’s peace, and if instability breaks out in Afghanistan, God willing, the situation will escalate, affecting not only the region’s countries but the entire world will be affected, as we have seen in the past.
