Former PTI MNA Jawad Hussain Joins PPP, Highlights Lack of Developmental Projects in Erstwhile FATA
Former Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Jawad Hussain, has announced his decision to join the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). The announcement was made during a news conference held in Islamabad, where he was accompanied by Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation, Faisal Karim Kundi, and Special Assistant on Water Resources, Mohammad Ali Shah Bacha.
Jawad Hussain, while addressing the media, expressed his disappointment with the PTI government, claiming that they failed to bring any significant developmental projects to the formerly Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). This region has long been in need of infrastructural and socio-economic development, and Hussain’s decision to switch parties reflects his dissatisfaction with the PTI’s performance in this regard.
