North Waziristan: The inauguration ceremony of Afghanistan Transit Trade was held at Ghulam khan border in North Waziristan.
Pakistan Army and the government are working together to provide jobs in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) tribal region, including the reopening of the Ghulam Khan border after the Torkham border.
The inauguration ceremony, held on the Ghulam Khan border in North Waziristan, was attended by Minister for Relief and Resettlement Mohammad Iqbal, Minister for Transport Shah Mohammad, Deputy Commissioner North Waziristan, military personnel and local leaders.
During the inauguration ceremony, transit trade at Ghulam Khan border was formally inaugurated by the provincial ministers and commissioners and prayers were offered for the development of trade. 2 vehicles arrived from Karachi Port for Afghanistan to formally commence Transit trade.
Speaking on the occasion, the provincial minister said that the opening of Ghulam Khan Border would not only boost trade between Pakistan and Afghanistan but also create jobs for the people of Waziristan. These are the signs of progress and prosperity in the history of Waziristan.
